School council

The school council is made up of 2 representatives from each class. They meet every half term to discuss issues and report on the ideas of their class.

So far the school council has reviewed and agreed the 'Children's Aims and Objectives' (See link below.) and carried out pupil surveys. The school council is hoping that these surveys will show them how happy and safe everyone is feeling at different times of the school day and possibly give them some action points to work on.

Last academic year 2016 - 2017 - The School Council's project was to transform the outside front entrance.

We asked the children for their ideas and discussed which ones we could use.

After we decided, we organized a fundraising event to fund the project.

The School Council arranged a sponsored sports afternoon to help raise the money.

The Sports afternoon help us to raise £1145 towards our project.

The money raised went towards paint and new benches for our outside front entrance.
