School Attendance Matters

We place a high priority on encouraging our pupils to attend school every day. Our aim is for at least 96% attendance each week and the classes compete to see whose attendance is the highest so they can win Tam'ed the tiger to sit in their class with them for the week.

Tam'ed stands for Townhill Attendance Matters Every Day.  A much bigger Tam'ed the tiger is on the gate to welcome the children into school every Monday morning!

The children also compete in classes to have no lateness so that they can win Cotat the tiger to sit in their class with them for the week. Cotat stands for Come On Time At Townhill.
